Recordings

Your recording stays in your browser while you practice. It is only sent when you press Get AI feedback. We send it to Deepgram for transcription and send the transcript to an AI model for scoring, then return the report to you. We do not store the audio or the transcript on our servers.

Reports and progress

Feedback reports, flashcard progress and your practice preferences are saved in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Free feedback limit

To keep AI feedback free, we count how many reviews each visitor uses per day. We store a salted one-way hash of your network address with a daily count, never the address itself.

Analytics

We use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they use practice tools, such as starting or finishing a session, reviewing vocabulary, and requesting feedback. We also measure referral sources, campaign tags, approximate geography, device types, and error categories to understand discovery and fix problems. These services use cookies and browser storage to recognize returning browsers. We do not send your recordings, transcripts, feedback reports or custom prompts to analytics, and we do not record your screen. Analytics is disabled when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
